Autism Practitioners | Full Time & Part Time Positions 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team within Fife Area Services. Currently supporting over 60 autistic adults within a variety of settings across Fife, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic Autism Practitioners to our Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly and Cardenden services.

Location: Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly and Cardenden

Salary: £23,088 - £24,526 pro rata

Hours: Full Time and Part Time positions available

About The Role:

As an Autism Practitioner, experience of working within social care is desirable but not essential as we are seeking to appoint people who share our values and are willing to learn and develop into the role. We will support you to do this by offering an extensive autism specific training programme.

It is not necessary to have experience of working within social care. What is more important is that you share our values and are looking to work in a job where they can be put into practice. Are you willing to learn and develop into the role, to build both your personal and professional qualities as you do? We provide outstanding training and ensure all our Autism Practitioners are supported and have the skills to deliver a quality service.

Community Advisor | Part Time Position 

An exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated Community Advisor has arisen to join our existing team at the Fife One Stop Shop.

Location: Kirkcaldy

Salary: £30,869 - £33,039 pro rata

Hours: Part Time position

About The Role:

As a Community Advisor, you will join a team delivering information, advice, support and guidance to autistic people, families, carers and interested professionals across the Fife area. Our Fife One Stop Shop is a hub based in Kirkcaldy, which supports hundreds of people across Fife every year through a range of free to access community opportunities/services.

About You

This role requires lived experience of autism and/or autism practice, with the knowledge to apply theory into practice. Your knowledge and understanding of autism, will help to support autistic people and their families across pre and post autism diagnosis.

You require experience of supporting complex situations, and the ability to provide a listening ear and providing support to others when they need it most.
