National Education Advisory Service
Our education advisory service has developed strong links with Local Authorities and other specialist and mainstream schools with a view to developing autism knowledge and practice throughout Scotland.
Our skilled and experienced education advisor aims to:

Promote the development of inclusive policies in mainstream and special schools;

Improve opportunities for pupil participation, self-advocacy and social inclusion;

Empower parents to fully participate in their child’s education;

Empower school staff to deliver an informed and inclusive service to pupils with autism;

Develop and maintain effective partnerships with schools, local authorities and other involved agencies;

Offer advice and approaches to enable conflict resolution.
Whether it be through 1 to 1 support, seminars, training or policy development, our education advisory service offers support to families, staff, organisations and other professionals.
