About

New Struan School has been leading the way in the delivery of specialist education for autistic children and young people for over 35 years.

We are a day and residential school for pupils between the ages of 5 and 19 years and welcome people from across the United Kingdom.

Our personalised support packages can include weekends and holidays covering 52 weeks of the year.

A New Struan Pupil

We cater for pupils across the autism spectrum with different levels of communication, social understanding and sensory needs.

Our vision is to enable our pupils to become included, confident learners in the community. We know that young autistic people can be successful learners and we strive to provide the structured and supportive environment which enables them to reach their full potential.

We recommend a visit to our school to see our community in action.

Part of Scottish Autism

New Struan School is part of Scotland’s national autism charity, Scottish Autism which enables autistic people to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

In addition to delivering education and residential support for young people, Scottish Autism provides day and vocational opportunities for adults, outreach services, supported living and specialist transition support.

Scottish Autism also offers a variety of additional services to support the wider autism community through its Advice Line and online support programme, Right Click.
